File Store is Being Sunset, Migrate to Stratus Now!

Catalyst File Store has been in its deprecation period since August 27, 2025, and is now nearing its sunset on 31st October 2026. Post this date, File Store will no longer be available in the console, and any business logic built on it will break.

We strongly suggest migrating to Catalyst Stratus to ensure your applications continue running without disruption.

Migration Made as Hassle-Free as Possible

1. Access your current FileStore in the Catalyst console.
2. Click the Migrate Now button present on the banner.
3. Select your destination bucket in Stratus (or create one if you don’t have one yet).
4. Click Next.
5. Type “Filestore Migrate” to confirm migration.

Before You Initiate Migration, Keep in Mind

• The migration is scheduled in the background. You’ll receive a console notification once it’s completed.
• Only collaborators with Write permissions for Stratus, or Admin users, can initiate the migration.
• Permissions configured for your folders in File Store will need to be reconfigured in Stratus.
• Duplicate file names are automatically renamed during migration. For example, duplicates of pic.jpg become pic (1).jpg, pic (2).jpg, and so on.

Your folder structure carries over as-is into the bucket. Migrate before the sunset date to avoid any disruption to your application.
