About the Catalyst documentation

This is the official documentation for Catalyst by Zoho, a full-stack, cloud-based platform for building software services and applications of any scale. With Catalyst you can build anything from microservices and single functions to complete cloud apps, without setting up or maintaining servers, storage or other infrastructure yourself.

What the documentation covers

  • Services: Serverless, Cloud Scale, Zia Services, QuickML, SmartBrowz, Signals, Job Scheduling, Pipelines, DevOps, Slate and ConvoKraft, each with its concepts, how-to guides, limits and pricing notes.
  • Developer tools: the SDKs (Java, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, Web, Android, iOS and Flutter), the Catalyst CLI, the REST API reference, and the AI Toolkit for AI assistants and agents (Context for LLMs, the Catalyst MCP server and the AI plugin).
  • Learning material: step-by-step tutorials, FAQ pages and code samples.
  • Account and policy topics: billing, data centres and compliance.

Languages

The documentation is published in English, Japanese and Spanish. The Japanese and Spanish pages are translated from English using machine translation, so the English page is the most accurate and up-to-date version.

How it’s kept current

Every page shows the date it was last updated. New features, changes and fixes are listed in the release notes, and major changes, such as a service being retired, are explained in announcements.

For AI assistants and agents

Every page has a Markdown copy (add .md to its address), and the site publishes llms.txt and AGENTS.md so AI tools can find and read the documentation.

Who publishes it

The Catalyst documentation is written and maintained by the Catalyst team at Zoho Corporation. To contact the team, see Contact and support.

About Zoho

We prefer to build things ourselves instead of growing our platform through acquisition. We invest more in customer support and product development than in sales and marketing. All that because we believe that’s the best way to deliver choice and value to our customers.

From the beginning, we decided we would never show ads inside our products (not even in the free editions), nor would we sell user information to third parties. And by prohibiting third-party trackers from operating on any of our websites, we’ve taken extra steps to make sure that your business is yours alone.
