Install Catalyst AI Plugin

This help section will detail the steps that you need to follow to connect the Catalyst AI Plugin to popular AI models.

Claude Code

To install and use the Catalyst AI Plugin in Claude Code:

1. Launch the Claude terminal in your system.
2. Click Yes, to enable access.
3. Run /plugins
4. Search “catalyst”.
5. Select catalyst-by-zoho plugin.
6. Press Enter to begin installing.
7. Once installed, run /reload-plugins to ensure the plugin is synced.
8. Now, run /mcp.
9. Find the installed MCP server, and proceed to authenticate it.

Install Commands

Run the followiong commands in the Claude CLI:

Switch DC & Authorize

Always ensure you are installing and authorizing using the right DC.

To choose the right DC:

1. Run the following command in your Claude CLI

2. Depending on your location, choose the right DC.

The Plugin is installed and can now be used by Claude Code.

ChatGPT Codex

To install and use the Catalyst AI Plugin in Codex:

1. Go to ChatGPT, and click Plugins from the side-panel.
2. Search for “catalyst”.
3. Click Install on the Catalyst by Zoho plugin.
4. Click + Install plugin.
5. Approve the integration request.
6. Follow the authentication steps to authorize and allow the integration.
7. You can test the plugin installation and availability using the Codex prompt space.

To choose the right DC:

1. Run the following command in your Claude CLI

2. Depending on your location, choose the right DC.

The plugin is installed and can now be used by Codex.

GitHub Code CoPilot

To install the Catalyst AI Plugin in CoPilot:

1. Access Agent Mode in your VS Code IDE.
2. Click Plugins in the Customizations section.
3. Click Browse Marketplace.
4. Search catalyst-by-zoho.
5. Select to install the required plugin.
6. Now, click MCP Servers in the Customizations section.
7. You will find the MCP server installed with the plugin, under the Plugins section.
8. Authenticate and authorize the MCP server connection.

To install the plugin:

Click the button below, or open the URL directly in your browser.

Install in VS Code

(OR)

Ensure you confirm the prompt when your browser asks to open the app.

Switch DC & Authorize

Always ensure you are installing and authorizing using the right DC.

To choose the right DC:

1. Ask CLAY in chat to switch the data centre, then review the updated mcp.json.
2. Run the entry from the gutter and authorize the MCP server in your browser.
3. Reopen the MCP servers view, and catalyst-by-zoho should show as connected.

The plugin is installed and can now be used by CoPilot.
