Publishers

Do I need to create an event schema for all events in the publisher?
No, this is not necessary. Zoho and SaaS publishers in Signals come with predefined events and their schemas. Even for custom events, you can easily capture the event payload using the Live Events support and generate the schema within seconds.

What's the maximum size of a Zoho event that Signals can process?
The maximum size for a Zoho publisher’s event processed in Signals is 100 KB, with an array of limitless Zoho events allowed up to 5 MB.

What's the maximum size for SaaS and Custom events in Signals?
For SAAS and custom publishers, the maximum event size is 64 KB, with an array of events up to 256 KB, limited to a maximum of 25 events.

Webhooks

Can I customize webhook headers and parameters using event schema properties?
Yes, you can customize headers and parameters with static or variable values from event payloads using JSON path.

What protocol and methods does Signals support for webhooks?
Signals support the HTTPS protocol and methods like POST, GET, PUT, PATCH, DELETE, and OPTION for webhooks.

Rules

How many events can I add to a rule?
You can add only one event to a rule in Signals. However, you can customize the same event for each target within the rule.

Can I add multiple targets to a rule, and what's the maximum limit?
Yes, you can add multiple targets to a rule. The maximum number of targets allowed per rule is five.

Dashboard

What does the percentage near the Success and Failed status indicate in the Event Statistics element?
They are called the Key performance Indicator (KPI) metrics reflecting the proportion of events in each status compared to the selected time interval on the top-right corner, providing a snapshot of recent performance.

Logs

Besides individual log entries, can I assess how an event performs across different rules and targets?
Absolutely. Each event record in Signals offers a comprehensive overview, allowing you to analyze its performance across various targets within the same rule and across different rules.
