# Configure The Rule

To configure the required rule:

1. Navigate to the **Rules** component in the *Catalyst Signals* section of the console and click **Add Rule**.

2. Provide a suitable name and description for your Rule.

3. Click **Choose Event**, and select **Catalyst Publisher** to add the configured Publisher.

4. Choose **User Confirmation** as the event that triggers this rule, and click **Done**.

5. Click **Choose Target**.

6. Provide a name for your **Target**, select **Function** as the *Consumer Type*, and select the **Event Function** you created from the drop-down.

7. Set the *Dispatch Policy* as **Instant**, and enable the *Send as Single Event* option, and select **Transform** as the *Target Input*.

8. Enter the text shown below in the *Template Compiler* section, and click **Generate Output**.

      "email" : $.events[0].data.email_id
  }
```

9. Click **Save** to apply your **Target** configurations, and click **Save** to create your **Rule**.

The required **Rule** has been configured.
