The cron once executed will immediately submit the associated [job](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/job-scheduling/help/job/introduction/) to the [job Pool](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/job-scheduling/help/jobpool/introduction/). This can be done by passing the [`cron id`](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/job-scheduling/help/cron/key-concepts/#cron-id) or name to the `run()` SDK method. > **Note:** You can use this method to update details of both [Pre-Defined Crons](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/job-scheduling/help/implementation/submit-job-predefined-cron/) and [Dynamic Crons](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/job-scheduling/help/implementation/submit-job-dynamic-cron/). **Using Cron ID** ```python job = job_scheduling.CRON.run('1234567890') # run cron with cron Id ``` **Using Cron Name** ```python job = job_scheduling.CRON.run('test_cron') # run cron with cron name ```
