New Features
**Catalyst JavaScript SDK is now generally available:** The [Catalyst JavaScript SDK](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/sdk/javascript/v1/overview/) has moved out of beta and is available to all developers. Built as a single modular library, it replaces the separate Node.js and Web SDKs and works across both server and browser environments.
This version includes:
* One SDK for server-side and browser-side Catalyst operations, instead of two separate libraries.
* Complete TypeScript support.
* Modular imports: install only the [components](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/sdk/javascript/v1/setup/) your application uses.
* Coverage for all Catalyst services, including Serverless, CloudScale, Zia Services, SmartBrowz, Job Scheduling, Pipelines, QuickML, and Connectors.
You can [**read the full announcement post here**](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/announcements/2026/js-sdk-launch/) for details, including the migration timeline for existing Node.js and Web SDK users.
Deprecated
**Announcing Deprecation of the Node.js SDK and Web SDK:** With the release of the [Catalyst JavaScript SDK](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/sdk/javascript/v1/overview/), the [Node.js SDK (v2)](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/sdk/nodejs/v2/overview/) and [Web SDK (v4)](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/sdk/web/v4/overview/) are now in maintenance mode. With effect from **1st October 2026**, both SDKs enter their deprecation stage: no new features will be added, and only security fixes will be applied, should any arise. With effect from **1st October 2027**, all functionality and support for the Node.js SDK and Web SDK will be terminated.
We strongly recommend [migrating your codebase to the JavaScript SDK](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/sdk/javascript/v1/migration/) to avoid disruption before the end-of-support date. You can [**read the full announcement post here**](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/announcements/2026/js-sdk-launch/) for more details.
