--- title: "List Catalyst Projects" url: https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/cli/v1/working-with-projects/list-catalyst-projects/ description: "Catalyst CLI enables you to view a list of your Catalyst projects, associate a project with your working directory, and reset the active project." last_updated: 2026-08-17T12:16:04Z service: All Services type: general --- # Working with Projects ### List Catalyst Projects You can view a list of the Catalyst projects in [organizations](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/getting-started/catalyst-organizations/) that you have access to in your Catalyst user account, from the CLI. To view a list of all your existing Catalyst projects in the organization that is set as the default, execute the following command: ```sh catalyst project:list ``` If you require the projects from a different organization that is not the default one to be listed, you must execute the same command with the `--org` option and specify the unique org ID of that organization in this manner: ```sh catalyst project:list --org<org_id> ``` This will display a table with the names and the [Project IDs](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/getting-started/set-up-a-catalyst-project/general-settings/) of your existing Catalyst projects in the organization. ![List Projects in CLI](https://catalyst-docs-development.zohostratus.in/images/cli/working-with-projects/catalyst_cli_project_list.webp) The base project of the directory from which you executed the command is also specified in the project list. This is the project that you originally initialized in that directory. The list also indicates the project that is active in that directory. If the active project is not the directory's base project, the CLI will display an alert about this. > **Note:** If you are a **Visual Studio Code IDE** user, you can install the **Catalyst Tools** extension, and perform the above mentioned CLI operation using your IDE in place of the CLI. Steps to view a list of all your Catalyst projects using Visual Studio Code IDE can be found [here](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/catalyst-extensions/vs-code-extension/catalyst-tools-explorer/)
