# Deploy API Gateway

You can deploy the API Gateway's [JSON file](https://docs.catalyst.zoho.com/en/cli/v1/working-with-api-gateway/api-gateway-json-file/) for your project to the cloud. This will update the local API definitions in the remote console.

> **Note:** If API Gateway is disabled for your project, the deployment of the API Gateway rules will be skipped.
